M3L Double A Picks Top Performer Monday, August 19th, 2041 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Double A, but last week Ron Carlisle of the Squirrel Hill Pierogis reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Carlisle rocked opposing pitching for a .611 average (11-for-18), 1 home run and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. In 80 games this season Carlisle has compiled a .244 batting average with 75 hits and 10 home runs. He has also scored 43 times and knocked in 42 runs. |
