Red-Hot Caceres Scorches Pilgrims Friday, August 9th, 2041 5 times is the charm -- at least for Javier Caceres. The Minnesota Loons center fielder tore up the Providence Pilgrims to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Field of Plenty today. The offensive onslaught from Caceres powered the Loons to a 6-0 win. "Caceres was a tough out today," Providence manager Micheal Garren said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Javier Caceres singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Javier Fierro in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
