Ernest Lesley Captures SAAA Outstanding Hitter Award Wednesday, October 9th, 2041 The future looks extremely bright for Ernest Lesley. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in USSL Triple A. Lesley has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USSL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .367 this year, that's for sure," the third baseman said. The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes star also put up a .420 on-base percentage this year, with 161 hits, 46 doubles, 5 triples, 16 home runs, 84 RBIs and 84 runs scored. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Steve Murdock of the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes finished second in voting, while Braxton Cottongame of the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes finished third.
