Júlio Valenzuela Injured, Out for Season
Wednesday, September 18th, 2041
When Alaskan reliever Júlio Valenzuela was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Humpbacks-Golden Cranes game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Valenzuela had sustained a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 13 months.

Here are his stats for this season: Valenzuela has chalked up 5 saves and fashioned a record of 3 wins and 1 losses with a 3.29 ERA. He has made 20 relief appearances, thrown 41 innings and struck out 47.
