Pancho Covarrubias Injured, Out for Year
Monday, August 12th, 2041
The doctors have spoken and Pancho Covarrubias of the Florida Men didn't like what he heard. The 25-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Covarrubias sustained his season-ending injury during the Pawnee ParksNRec game yesterday at Psychos Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Florida medical staff reported Covarrubias had a torn back muscle and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months.

Over the season Covarrubias has thrown 58.2 innings and dished out 31 strikeouts with a 1-10 mark and a 10.59 ERA.
