SAAA's Star Player Named Monday, August 12th, 2041 27-year-old Lonnie Baker made a few Tortolita headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 20 at-bats to put up a .550 average. Baker collected 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Baker is hitting .366 in 2041 with 31 RBIs and 10 home runs. |
