Knights End Bei's Streak Monday, July 29th, 2041 The Nolensville Knights got more than the 8-2 victory at Ballpark of Alloway today -- they also put an end to the 21-game hitting streak of Scranton Supernovas left fielder Guan-pei Bei by holding him without a hit in 5 at-bats. After the game, Bei seemed more concerned with his team taking the loss than with the demise of his streak. "I had some great looks at some pitches that I should have hit," he said. "I missed some that I shouldn't have swung at. All in all, I wasn't much help with the bat today." In his 2041 season totals, Bei has 8 home runs, .416 BA, .450 OBP, 43 RBIs and 40 runs scored. |
