Ramos on the Attack, Player of the Week
Monday, July 29th, 2041
Once you hit 35, it's hard to say how much time you've got left in baseball. Mario Ramos has been fortunate as his numbers for the past week bear out. The 40-year-old first baseman, a favorite in the Scranton Supernovas clubhouse, hit .467 last week as he put up Player of the Week numbers.
Ramos also put together 7 hits in 15 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs for the week.
Thus far this season Ramos is hitting .292 with 6 home runs, 29 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 38 hits in 130 at-bats and has played in 35 games.
