League Suspends Dodos Laurel 2 Games Thursday, July 11th, 2041 The league has issued a 2-game suspension to Dodos center fielder Arsenio Laurel for his bad conduct yesterday at the Hialeah-Plymouth game at Plymouth Quarry. Laurel was tossed out of the game for heatedly questioning a third-strike call. Once the home plate umpire ejected him, Laurel ran over to argue more, even though the umpire warned him specifically, "Don't you come over here." Laurel then retreated to the dugout, where he threw several bats onto the field and followed with a toss of an athletic trainer's bag. Later, Laurel ran out of the clubhouse tunnel to continue arguing -- a big no-no for a player who has already been thrown out. |
