Brass Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, September 18th, 2041 The Baton Rouge Brass will have a "long time to dwell" on this season's failure to get into the postseason, according to first baseman Jamy Geertsen. Still in the chase in the season's final days, the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention earlier today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2036. In the last 10 seasons, the Brass have missed the playoffs 6 times. In total, the Brass have missed the playoffs 22 times in their 26-year history. Baton Rouge has won the PL AAA Championship 4 times in their history. |
