Baton Rouge Starter Named PAAA's #1 Pitcher Sunday, September 1st, 2041 David Flowers took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the USPL Triple A Pitcher of the Month award for August. The 26-year-old Brass starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-0 won-lost record in 4 starts. This month he fanned 8 batters in 30 innings and compiled a 0.60 ERA. This season Flowers has gone 9-2 with an ERA of 2.58, posting 37 strikeouts in 87.1 innings. |
