3AAA Pitcher of the Month Goes to Podell Tuesday, October 1st, 2041 In September, Gary Podell tore through the M3L Triple A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Salt Lake City starter posted a 3-0 mark and an ERA of 1.04 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 8.2 innings he collected 9 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .265 average. |
