Season-Ending Injury for Juan Ramírez Saturday, September 14th, 2041 Hamilton starting pitcher Juan Ramírez could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn rotator cuff. He exited yesterday's Monongahela game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Ramírez would be out 14 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." Thus far this season, Ramírez has worked 126 innings with 68 strikeouts en route to a 8-8 record and a 4.64 ERA. |
