Ellenburg's Johnstone Bags 3AAA Top Batter for August Sunday, September 1st, 2041 For a rookie just breaking in, Mike Johnstone certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the 3AAA Batter of the Month award for August. The 22-year-old first baseman for the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds hit .362 with 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and 21 runs scored. To date this season Johnstone is hitting .346 with 11 home runs. |
