White Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Thursday, August 8th, 2041 Phillip White truly did it all at Fog Park today. The Sunset District Fog first baseman hit for the cycle -- collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- as he paced his club to victory, 12-6 over the Athletic Club KC Reserves. "You know that sweet sound you hear when you hit the ball just right? I heard that every time today," White said later. "It was a heck of a feeling." It was a game good enough for him to make a little history. He bombed Athletic Club KC pitching for 4 hits in 5 at-bats and his name will now go into the record books. White also racked up 6 RBI and 3 runs scored in the game. Phillip White hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jorge Moreno in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
