Sasheer Zamata Out for 13 Months Wednesday, October 2nd, 2041 Sasheer Zamata is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Greenville organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 13 months with a damaged elbow ligament. The 25-year-old reliever suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the New Orleans Voodoo. On the year, Zamata has recorded 10 saves with a 2-3 record over 70 innings. He has mowed down 80 batters on strikes and walked 25 with an ERA of 3.47. |
