Season Ends for Amando Codes of Colorado Saturday, September 14th, 2041
The doctors have spoken and Amando Codes of the Colorado Billy Goats didn't like what he heard. The 32-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Codes sustained his season-ending injury during the St. Louis Coeur game yesterday at The BFIB. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Colorado medical staff reported Codes had a damaged elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13 months.
Codes's record this season is 4-and-2 with 5 saves and a 3.25 ERA. He has given up 43 hits in 44.1 innings with 35 strikeouts.
