Montgomery Nabs PA Weekly Award Monday, June 24th, 2041 John Montgomery is respected by most Chicago Tula fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Single A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .409 average (9-for-22) with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Montgomery has banged out 39 hits in 151 at-bats for a .258 average with 6 home runs. He is getting on base at a .333 pace and his totals also include 24 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
