Player of the Week: Trevino of the Gold Sox Monday, June 3rd, 2041 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Single A, but last week Pedro Trevino of the Chicago Gold Sox reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Trevino rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (10-for-20), 2 home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. In 25 games Trevino is hitting .326 this season with 30 hits, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs, 12 walks, .400 OBP and has scored 11 runs. |
