Kent's Pencíl Snaps up August Batting Award Sunday, September 1st, 2041 Numberto Pencíl put together a good August to earn the USPL Single A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Kent officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Comets right fielder posted a .389 batting average with 8 home runs, 21 RBIs and 15 runs scored. Pencíl is hitting .316 so far this season with 54 RBIs and 47 runs scored. He has 103 hits including 17 home runs, 43 walks and .412 OBP. |
