League Suspends Murdoch and Reyes for Brawl Saturday, June 30th, 2040 After an intense confrontation, both the Blaze Rob Murdoch and the Arryns José Reyes were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent South Beach-Lake Erie game. Rob Murdoch will miss 4 games, while José Reyes was suspended for 8 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Rob Murdoch commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." So far this season Murdoch has hit .271 with no home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 20 times.
