Best Player Named by USSL Single A
Saturday, September 28th, 2041
At the age of 24, Aubrey Miller of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2041 was good enough to win the first baseman the USSL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .246 batting average this year, as well as a .366 on-base percentage. He played 89 games and racked up 78 hits, 13 doubles, 3 triples, 25 home runs, 61 RBIs and 61 runs scored.
He received 4 first place votes out of a possible 10. Bill Wells of the Mancelona Torch finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Julian Lemur of the Syracuse Storm finished third with 1 first place vote.
