Levittown's García Will Miss Season Monday, June 3rd, 2041 The doctors have spoken and Jorge García of the Levittown Blue Dragons didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. García sustained his season-ending injury during the Yucca Valley Yellows game yesterday at The Cave at Levittown. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Levittown medical staff reported García had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months. To date this season García is 0-0 with 0 starts and an ERA of 3.95 with 17 strikeouts in 13.2 innings. |
