Aylwin Takes 3A Top Starter Trophy Saturday, June 1st, 2041 When the Blue Dragons skipper wrote Aylwin on the lineup card, it was a bad omen for the opposition. Outing after outing in May he took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-1 mark and 2.01 ERA in 5 starts. The gifted Blue Dragons star pitched 31.1 innings, fanned 37 and held opposing teams to a .175 average. For his excellent mound work Aylwin was named the 3A Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. |
