Kas Grabs 3A Reliever of the Year Award Sunday, September 23rd, 2040 At the age of 20, Danny Kas says he still has a lot to learn about life in M3L Single A. But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Yucca Valley Yellows reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2040 M3L Single A Reliever of the Year Award. "I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Willemstad, Curaçao native said. For the season, Kas had 13 saves in 34 relief appearances, which totaled 38.1. He fanned 47 betters, while walking 19 and put up a record of 2-1 to go with his 0.70 ERA. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Walton Gibbs of the Yucca Valley Yellows finished second in voting, while Stu Searle of the Belleville Bulls finished third.
