3A Player of the Week Goes to Padilla of Belleville Monday, July 29th, 2041 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Single A, but last week Joe Padilla of the Belleville Bulls reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Padilla rocked opposing pitching for a .625 average (10-for-16), 2 home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this year, Padilla is batting .253 with 5 home runs and 25 RBIs. |
