United States Premier League Names Top Rookie Tuesday, October 29th, 2041 Mike Donovan's age didn't show very often in his first year. He performed more like a veteran on the hill for the New Orleans Voodoo and today he walked away with the 2041 United States Premier League Newcomer of the Year Award. The 25-year-old starter registered a 11-2 record this season in 17 starts. Over 111.2 innings he gave up 75 hits, struck out 84 and issued 36 walks as he held the opposition to a .188 batting average and fashioned a 2.10 ERA. Riley Rowbery of the Mississippi Mockingbirds finished second in voting, while Jorge Castillo of the New Orleans Voodoo finished third. |
