Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Khokar Tuesday, October 29th, 2041 When Joe Khokar jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs. The New Orleans Voodoo closer turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the United States Premier League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2041. His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 23 saves in 44 relief appearances, 64 strikeouts in 56.2 innings and only 11 walks. He had a record of 3 wins and no losses to go with his 1.75 ERA. "I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said. Jorge Gil of the Boston Patriots finished second in voting, while Raśl Romero of the Portland Evergreens finished third. |
