It's Nicky Bogdan, this year's United States Premier League Gold Ball selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Bogdan compiled a 9-4 record in 23 starts, tallied 152 strikeouts in 133.2 innings and recorded a 3.64 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .258 batting average against him. Javier Ariza of the Cleveland Browns finished second in voting, while Tony Alfonso of the Hollywood Shredders finished third. |
