Matsumoto Heads PL Best Player List Tuesday, October 29th, 2041 Tetsu Matsumoto took United States Premier League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 24. For his spectacular campaign, the Portland Evergreens star has been named the 2041 United States Premier League Gold Bat recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman. On the season he compiled a .313 batting average to go with a .384 on-base percentage. The native of Tokyo, Japan also added 27 doubles, no triples, 31 home runs, 76 RBIs and 60 runs scored. Max Bortenschlager of the Buffalo White Walkers finished second in voting, while Juan Andrés Martí of the Boston Patriots finished third. |
