Hot Start Continues for White Walkers
The Buffalo White Walkers topped the Portland Evergreens by the score of 13-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Eddie Sachs. Sachs was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the White Walkers on the day. The White Walkers, now 15-5, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Sachs put Buffalo up, 6-2, when he hit a 2-run home run off Clarence Jones in the bottom of the fourth. His 1st home run of the season helped the White Walkers capture the win.
