Fans who came to Great Northern Field watched the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC and the Las Vegas Flamingos fight to the finish.

The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Las Vegas Flamingos at Great Northern Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Ralph DePalma, who captured player of the game honors. Mannus Dijkman converted his 1st save in 2 tries.

Sébastien Cornu tagged a home run off Dermot Eridge in the bottom of the sixth. His solo blast put the Northern Lions BC on top, 2-1. In all, Cornu had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Cornu.

Thunder Bay now sits in last place in the Silver League at 36-51.
