San Mateo right-hander Travis Morgan pitched his team to a shutout win, 4-0, over the Nashville Outlaws. José Cotilla was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. The Outlaws, now 35-44, have lost 8 straight.
Esteban Sifuentes put San Mateo in front, 2-0, when he took Forest Stanley downtown. His solo home run came with two out in the top of the fourth. It was his 6th home run of the season.
