Cattlemen Rally For Late Win Over Northern Lions BC
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC got a superb performance from catcher Sébastien Cornu, but the Ft. Worth Cattlemen still won the game, 8-6. Cornu was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Ft. Worth reliever Tom Scots picked up the win, upping his record to 4-4. Peace Addo shouldered the loss. Jack Buyse recorded his 19th save for Ft. Worth.

Ft. Worth took a 7-6 lead on Dennis Wacher's 93rd hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Wacher hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Thunder Bay pitcher Peace Addo visibly frustrated.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Wacher said.

Ft. Worth, at 40-39, sits in 5th place in the Silver League.
