4-2 Win by White Walkers Continues Hot Start

Buffalo rode a good effort from starter John A. Mais to beat the Portland Evergreens at Beyond the Wall. The final score was 4-2. Mais picked up the win for Buffalo, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-1. The White Walkers, now 14-5, have been on a roll in the early going.
The White Walkers got a big at-bat from catcher Tom Dickinson. For the game, Dickinson went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Buffalo a 3-2 lead.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Mais said.
