The Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the Buckhead Bowties, 7-4, at 5 Paces Park. Dennis Wacher was named player of the game for Ft. Worth. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double, in addition to the 3 runs he scored and 2 he knocked in. The winner was Armando Romano, who threw 96 pitches over 7.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 13 hits. The Cattlemen now have a record of 37-38 with the win over Buckhead.
