Outlaws Lose to Divided, 6-4
|
Fans who gathered at Washington Stadium saw a good contest between the D.C. Divided and Nashville Outlaws.
The D.C. Divided defeated the Nashville Outlaws, 6-4, at Washington Stadium. Bill Butler was named player of the game for D.C.. His 4 hits included 2 singles and 2 doubles, in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 2 he knocked in. Van Hileman, credited with the win, is now 9-4. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits in 5.1 innings.
D.C. left fielder Martín Chávez delivered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. Overall, he went 3 for 5, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
