A 3-RBI performance from Bill Stanton helped the Colorado Billy Goats beat the Nashville Outlaws, 7-5. Harry Stuterberg was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts.

Colorado took a 7-3 lead on Stanton's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Ricardo Ruíz in the top of the seventh, propelled Colorado to the win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Colorado manager Mack Kilkeary.

The 8th-place Billy Goats improved to 29-38.
