Nashville designated hitter Javier Sierra was the key at Atlantica today, being named player of the game as he powered the Outlaws to victory in a critical Game of the Silver League Championship. The Outlaws took the 9-7 win over the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

The Outlaws took a 9-4 lead in the top of the eighth inning. Facing Northern Virginia hurler Mal Houser with one out, Sierra hit a grand slam home run.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Sierra.
