The Buffalo White Walkers started the Round 1 in dominant fashion today, blowing out the host San Mateo Dirty Reds at Lang Park by a score of 10-2 and securing an early - lead in the best-of- series. White Walkers left fielder Dread Roberts was named player of the game as he hit 3 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 4.

Buffalo relied on the hitting of Je-myung Yu to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the White Walkers on top, 7-0. For the game, Yu had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
