The Toledo Stingers are one game away from a sweep of the Third League Championship after stifling the Cleveland Browns by a score of 4-0 at Factory of Sadness today. Stingers right-hander Taalay Ibragimov was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he came in in relief and pitched to 20 batters . Toledo now holds a - advantage in the best-of- series.
It could have been a different outcome for Toledo, had it not been for Adam Clements, the 26-year old second baseman . Clements contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Toledo up, 4-0.
"At least it was over quickly," Browns manager Greg Diersing said. "We'll just have to try our luck again."
