Almost There: Buffalo On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 6-4 Win
Buffalo catcher Colin O'Connell was the key at Beyond the Wall today, being named player of the game as he powered the White Walkers to victory in a critical Game of the Round 1. The White Walkers took the 6-4 win over the Athletic Club KC to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Tom Smythe aided the Buffalo cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder was 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.

"Best-of- series are brutal," Athletic Club KC manager Andy Mayfield said. "You can get into trouble so fast. We can't afford any mistakes now."
