Multi-HR Game for Wilkerson in 8-7 Win
Behind a solid performance from left fielder John Wilkerson, the Virginia Palladium Sox defeated the Springfield Shooters, 8-7. Wilkerson went 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Palladium Sox. Matt Elmore picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-7. He struck out 5 in 7.1 innings. Virginia has now won 3 straight, while the Shooters have lost 4 in a row.
