The Olympia Ogres topped the Chesapeake Continentals, 10-4, in USPL Double A action at Chesapeake Grounds. The player of the game was Olympia left fielder Pepe Savinon. Olympia occupies 9th place in the Premier AA at 39-62.

It could have been a different outcome for Olympia, had it not been for Paulino Gómez, the 20-year old center fielder . Gómez contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth inning to put Olympia up, 4-2.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Gómez told the Olympia Daily News.
