The Virginia Palladium Sox overcame a good performance by Biloxi right fielder Fraser Childs to knock off Biloxi, 6-5, at Palladium Labs. Childs was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The losses continue to pile up for Biloxi, which has now fallen 13 times in a row.

In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 5-5, third baseman Juan Amengual won it for Virginia. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Amengual hit a first pitch fastball from Marc Olsen for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 6-5 win.

Amengual called the triumph "a good team win."
