Blimps Come Back Late to Clip Shuckers

Getting a good performance from left fielder Ju-ho Ko, the Akron Blimps defeated the Biloxi Shuckers, 7-6. Ko went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk for the Blimps. Reliever José Peña picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Karisnu Raghunathan took the loss. Biloxi's current losing streak is now 10 games.
Akron's win came gift-wrapped. With two out in the bottom of the ninth, with the game tied, Mike Fisher reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Biloxi manager César Navejar. "The effort was great."
