Getting an impressive start from Carlos Semprún, Springfield beat Chesapeake by the score of 6-2. Semprún, now 3-4, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. Springfield bumps their record to 37-51 with the win.
