Fighting Imps Win in Extras
Ithaca and Biloxi duked it out at The Pizza Oven and the Fighting Imps came out victorious.

The inspired effort of Biloxi right fielder Lorenzo Lobo was not enough to prevent a 6-5 loss to the Ithaca Fighting Imps. Lobo belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Getting the save was Marcos Córdova, his 1st.

Ithaca needed the clutch hitting of Juan Núñez to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Fighting Imps on top, 6-5. For the game, Núñez had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Ithaca manager Lou Boone.

The last-place Fighting Imps improved to 29-55.
