The Shuckers grabbed a win, 5-4, at Imps Park, overcoming a fine effort from Ithaca pitcher Glenn Underwood. Underwood went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Karisnu Raghunathan, credited with the save, is now 8 for 10 in save opportunities. Biloxi is now 36-33, while Ithaca is 21-48.

Biloxi used the bat of Fraser Childs to capture the win. The center fielder jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Shuckers ahead, 5-4. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

Childs called the triumph "a good team win."
