Gommers Slugs Krewe to 7-3 Win
Behind the bravura of center fielder Reggie Gommers, the Crescent City Krewe topped the Olympia Ogres by the score of 7-3. Gommers went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Krewe. Crescent City reliever Chris Floyd was credited with the win, to go to 3-2. Emery Manhoran took the loss for Olympia. The second-place Krewe are now 41-27, the Ogres 27-41.

Crescent City grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Francisco Rojas delivered a 3-run home run, to make it 5-2 in favor of the Krewe.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Rojas said.
